V112: Steampunk Expo Yay!

Okay, I'm SO tired, but we had the most amazing 1st annual Steampunk Expo here in Reno.  It was a huge success! Now time for a nap .... more photos tomorrow.

  1. Yesterday we went to the Elf Fantasy fair..and there where also a lot of people with a steampunk costume..my son wants to have a steampunk costume next year..so i'm looking forward to see your photo's!!..and getting inspired!!

    Have you read The Parasol Protectorate-series by Gail Carriger? Delightful steampunk with a really personable heroine- though you shouldn't mind vampires and werewolfes. :) (I don't).

    2. Do- the fifth and last just came out and I had to re-read them all. But be prepared, you may find yourself wanting to make some really silly hats...

      Such a terrific ensemble - I was just thinking to myself (after a rather successful jaunt with jodhpurs) that I need to add a pair of knickerbockers to my repertoire as well! Did you sew yours?
